The Astronomist @ Field of Science
The Astronomist has moved to a new home at Field of Science. It is great to be here with a community of other diverse science blogs which you can browse at the top of the page. A few things have changed with the blog like the look and the URL, but all the changes are for the better. I would also like to take this chance to talk a little about The Astronomist.

Welcome to our little science tribe TA.
ReplyDeleteI think astronomist should be a word. It's your word.
ReplyDeleteHere's to curiosity!
But Alex-- isn't astronomer already the word for astronomist? In any case, I'm really glad you're writing and that I get to read it. I always thought you were one of the most curious people I knew in college, but in a way that was adamant and eager to understand how everything works, from the growth of a fingernail to the movement of galaxies. If you're passion rubs off even an iota on me and others through your blog, it's worth the writing and the reading. --Matthew Scheer
ReplyDeleteOf course astronomer is the word for astronomist, but it doesn't have that nice ring to it. And further that URL was taken.
ReplyDeleteNice meeting you at bluebird tonight. Thanks for saying hi.
